Why Buy Registered Kittens

When you buy a registered kitten, you are buying its parents genetic tests, it’s parents’ show titles or certificates, the kittens vaccinations, their full pedigree microchip, their worm and flea preventative treatments, their veterinary checks, a great food and nutrition history and 24/7 care - right up until the moment the kitten goes to their new home

Questions to Ask About Ragdolls

Have the parents been tested for common Ragdoll health problems (e.g., hypertrophic cardiomyopathy)? Has the kitten been vaccinated and dewormed? Can I see the vet records? Have any health screenings or DNA tests been done? Does the cat have pet insurance or a health guarantee?

Undestanding Pedigree Cats

A pedigree cat is one with a documented lineage from a recognised breed. This matters because it defines specific traits in apearance and temperament. Three major cat registryies like GCCF ( Governing Council of the Cat Fancy), TICA (The International Cat Association) and CFA (Cat Fancier's Association) ensure pedigree status is maintained.

Is the Ragdoll Cat Right For You?

Ragdolls shoudl not go outside without human supervision. The main concern for Ragdolls when they are out in the open is lack of protection as they are not capable of defending themselves, however, as all animals, they will benefit from freash air and could be let out in a cat-proof garden or walked on a leash.

Although our recommendation is getting two, it might not always be possible, but if you have two kittens, they will always have someone to play with and will not get lonely when their human family is away. Studies have shown that indoor cats are happier and more active when they have a feline companion around. Although rare, they could get depressed, bored or lonely. If that happens, they migh start clawing the furniture, become clingy or very vocal. Two kittens will however, require twice as much food and litter, there will be also extra mess and clean up and increased vet bills.

Generally, Ragdolls are not as demanding as other breeds but they enjoy human company and wnat to get involved in yoru daily activities. They can gree you at teh door and follow you around. They require a moderate amount of attention and may become lonely or bored if left alone for long periods of time. Ragdolls are intelligent and curious and love interactive play. They alos need an opportunity to explore, jump, climb and hide.

Testimonials

Just over a week ago we bought home our gorgeous little Ivy. I made contact with the breeder back in January where I was told a litter was expected soon. I stayed in regular contact with Beata who kept me updated with regular updates and photos of how the kittens were getting along. Once the colourings started to show, we asked to reserve our little Ivy and since then, we had many photos & updates all the way up to collection. Ivy has a beautiful temperament & very cuddly. Beata is a wonderful breeder who cares enormously about her kittens, her breeding cats & the families which she lets her kittens go to. Beata was keen to show us mum, dad and aunties, this was so lovely & assured us that we were purchasing from a trusted and honest breeder. Beata was so lovely and welcoming into her home when we had our visit. I would highly recommend Bluewhitekitties – Thankyou again Beata. We couldn’t imagine our home now without Ivy 💖xxx

We first got in contact with Beata in January when the kittens had just been born and she kept us updated with photos all the way till we picked them up in the Easter holidays. Beata kept us updated on everything about there first vaccines, what food was best for them, what toys etc she really knows her stuff about rag dolls. We had owned a ragdoll before and got him from a different breeder it’s become very clear that they didn’t provide us with half the information. From day one Beata made us feel very welcome in her home she was very caring and very informative too. She cares immensely about each kitten and who they go to. On the day we picked up the kitten she gave us so much information about vaccination dates, flea and worm treatment dates, likes and dislikes etc and a starter kit including dry food, wet food, litter and a toy after two months we still don’t need to buy anything yet! Both kittens are cuddly, friendly, playful and confident I would highly recommend this breeder.

We picked up our two kittens, in the school holidays and we are so in love with them! we had been in contact with the breeder since February, when the cats were pregnant and it has been a wonderful journey. We were given regular updates and videos of the kittens we had chosen. The Breeder cares immensely about each kitten and the homes that they go to and we are so honoured to have two gorgeous Ragdolls from Bluewhitekitties Ragdolls. We were given information about the kittens (vaccination dates, flea and worm treatment dates, likes and dislikes etc), and a starter kit including dry food, wet food, litter and a toy. Both kittens are cuddly, friendly, confident and playful. Both kittens were fully vaccinated and up to date flea and worming treatments. The breeder also set up free 6 weeks pet insurance for both kittens. Highly recommended this breeder, they are friendly, professional and truly care about each cat and kittens.
